Speller Metcalfe Ltd has applied its core principles to establish a specialist Living division, dedicated to meeting the needs of today’s broad housing requirements. We bring a fresh approach to a variety of sectors, including Social Housing, Bespoke Residential, Extra Care and Boarding Accommodation.

Our Living construction team, who possess significant commercial and construction knowledge of market requirements, are raising the standards for the provision of low-cost sustainable housing, by:?

• Working with our client base to bring our expertise to the early stages of feasibility assessment.

• Sourcing land provisions and working through design development stages to accrue maximum land usage.
• Efficient management and programming of our procurement and building processes, to provide best value and practise.
• Bespoke, quality planning in order to deliver a zero-defects end product.
• Specialist knowledge of sustainable construction methods, allowing us to build up to, and in compliance with, Level 6 of the Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH).

Speller Metcalfe Living Ltd (Main Contractor) - We have been selected by Guinness Hermitage to deliver the project as the principal contractor. Fundamental in the way we operate is our open and honest approach. Our team strive to approach all projects with a positive and dynamic attitude, which is reflected in the drive and commitment of our workforce. Our experience across a wide spectrum of construction projects enables us to confidently deliver our clients requirements.


Shires Consulting ( Structural Consultant) - We have been appointed by Speller Metcalfe Living Ltd as the consulting structural engineer for this project. We are responsible for the structural design of these buildings and associated infrastructure.
Shire is a multi-disciplinary firm of civil and structural engineers, telecom infrastructure consultants and town planners. Our main office is located in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire but we also have a planning office located in St Albans, Hertfordshire.


Evans Jones (Architectural Consultant) - We have been appointed by Speller Metcalfe Living Ltd as the consulting architects for this project. We are responsible for the architectural design of these buildings and associated infrastructure.
Evans Jones is an independent firm of Chartered Surveyors and Planning Consultants established in 1972. Based in Cheltenham, the practice provides services to the Commercial and Residential Property sectors across the whole of the UK.
